tapered front bearing kits which should also include the hub oil seals are generally in the $50-$60 per side.

A rear bearing kit $30-$40.

As for radius arm bushes, maybe they mean the rear trailing arm, a more common place to get wear especially if they are not regularly greased. If that is the case, a job best left to experts as the bronze bush is a press fit and would need reaming. A new pivot pin and roller bearing most probably would also be needed.

Lower control arm bushes are relatively easy to replace and inexpensive as are the tie rod bushes. Should be done at the same time.

Upper control arm wear is again another job best left to the experts, even harder to do with engine in the car. Upper control arm pivot pin kits are available. Again, wear in this area is a sign of poor maintenance.

Hope I haven't put you off with all this but if it is for a roadworthy and the mechanics are doing their job properly, you need to have it fixed right first time and manitained properly, should not need touching again for a very long time.

cheers

No, but both are cheap and easy to replace. Upper control arms don't have bushes, there are two roller bearings...and you will generally need to replace the upper shaft as well. Dead easy with a bare subframe sitting on the garage floor -MUCH less easy otherwise.

Cheers, Ian
