this is everything i bought a couple days ago for $75. i have circled everything in blue that i want to keep. i wouldn't mind if you can tell me what should be binned. and if you see something you like with out a blue circle around it make me an offer, (i will be selling for what they are worth).

(this is mainly a "this is what i got" thread and not a "for sale" thread so that is why i posted here)

i acutally wan those bottom thingys which are just below the blue circle.^^^

edit1: i'm hanging onto these mudflaps till i get over the fact i own them. they just give out that magical feeling and make me all excited. like an Ace in a bad hand.

(i with hold the right to change my mind at any time... mmm k?)

i'll post later the story of how i stumbled upon these, it's a good one.

ahh yes the story.

well after dropping a school subject i went for a bit of a burn to let off some steam. firtly going through mullum i pulled up next to this chevy for a couple of pics.

Image

that made me a bit happier. taking the senic roots around to brunswick and went passed a garage i go past everytime i go through brunny (bout 3 - 4 times a week). i noticed out of the corner of my eye a beutiful yellow morris minor ute (i think).

Image

so i did a u'i and parked next to the garage, i went in had a bit of a look at it and then asked the guy, "is this your ute?" he said "yep" as though iw as some street punk. i said it was beutiful and what not, he told be a bit about it, and then is aid i own a mini. so we went outside and i showed molly to him. allt he thingy-ma-jigs and what not. he said he had gone through a few minis in his time (coopers, cooper s's, gt's Ls's and clubmans like molly.) he siad he had some mini parts lying around he was gonna take to a swap meet. he started pulling out bits and pices and i wasn't really thinking i'd be interested in buying them. then like a beem of light from through the clouds he pulled out the BMC FRONT MUD FLAPS, in there box, as well as a couple of other mud flaps but iw asn't paying attention, he said i could get $20 each for them at a swap meet. i didn't show my excitement as the poker face person i am. but it was hard trying to get a closer look at them while trying to seem uniterested. he said he'd sell the lot to me for $80-$90. i asked if i could go and think about it.

i then jumped on here and asked some questions about the mud flaps.

the next day i said i'd take it all for $90 we sorted through the whole lot of the stuff. and i had a bit of a gander at the mud flaps and relised the rear ones were there to. i contained my excitement though. then another minor pulled up at the gas station a beutiful cream one with woody back like our travellers or countryman or something.

Image

Image

you know what i mean. these two beutiful machines. so ha da bit of a listen about them and what not. the whole time we were sorting through the stuff, i get mentioning, "so...$90 bucks for the lot?" in a voice that said (i'm fine paying that much i tihnk i'm getting a bargain, don't worry about lowering it) but when i had put everything in the back of the feroza he said $75 will do it. i thought sure. he also said that i should come back in a couple weeks time cause he may have found some more stuff and i can have it aswell.

thats the story short and sweet. i am thinking if i sell those flaps i'll give him a bit of the profit, but after i sell them.

in other news, if you see something you like "pm" me. i'm getting bundles of stuff o send of to different cities, so i don't have to pay for each little item (exceptions for regional places like where i am)

oh and i think i might start going around to other car places and seeing if ther are any other bits-n-bobs lying around. you might wanna do the same  never know what you might find.
