Post subject: | Pulsar Dizzy wiring question |
I have searched for this but can't find a definitive answer ![]() Well, following up from earlier posts I have almost rescued the Dizzy drive from the sump using a telescopic magnety thing, which broke but when I get the new one I am very confident that I will get it out ![]() So, assuming this I want to confirm that I have the wiring right. I have put the blue lead from the Pulsar dizzy to the -ve on the Pulsar coil and the B/W one on the +ve. As for the wires that were previously attached to the old Lucas coil I have put the B/W one on the -ve (as before) and the W (I think it is very dirty) on the +ve (as before) the one that was connected to the old dizzy I have removed. Can someone please confirm that this is correct before I go any further. Thanks all Rick |

Sounds OK, The white on the =ve side of the coil is unfused usually and is the 12 volt supply, but what does the white/black wire supply? Have you got a tacho? This one on the -ve side of the coil usually feed a tacho or a kill switch. It should run without it if need be. |
