Hey there everyone.

Im ready to re-install my rear subframe into my mini. I have bought the urethane bushes for the 4 clamp thingies which attach the subframe to the car boot floor.

I was wondering what sort of grease I should use on these urethane bushes.

The grease is usually supplied with the urethane bushes - so ask your supplier for it.

I believe its a lithium based grease but I am not sure.
Usually in a little satchet inside the bushs's packet.

If it is the rear subframe mountings, these are a stationary point ie: no movement so in fact you would not have to grease them and that is why no grease was provided. However for the front ones, tie rod and lower control arm, the grease as Mike said should have been provided and is lithium based.
