hi all just wondering if anyone could recommend a good clutch kit?
would something like this do?

Borg and Beck. Has a much thicker spring. The normal Mini ones are quite thin.

Probably karcraft, as I did a quick search on ebay and there were none.

I have a borg and beck in mine. When I did the gearbox, I had all intentions of replacing the clutch, but when we got it off it was like new... and I don't know how long it had been in there!

I think they are also known as "Cooper S" clutches. :lol: :lol: :lol:

haha so they'll tack another $50 on to the price because a cooper somewhere sometime may have used it so now it will forever be known as cooper s!

A Borg & Beck clutch kit for a Cooper S is around $115, a Quinton Hazell one is around $100. Kc's prices- in my catalog.
I'll take the B&B, always... :wink:

I'd stay away from the aftermarket asian rubbish, the clutch facings are as good as Kellogg's cornflakes packets. Had one in Barney when bought- the clutch shuddered real bad.
