hey guys when fitting a oil cooler do you have to cut out any steel from the front bar if you do how much and where abouts on the front bar eg in the middle, |

No, you just need to fold the bottom lip on the fron apron down carefully for the width of the oil cooler. |

does the grill cover it without touching it or do you have to space the grill out |

I have the quick release buttons, but no it doesn't touch. They can touch if not fitted very well, but I have only seen this when the lower brackets weren't used to stop it from tilting forward. These are strips of metal bent to 90 degrees which the screws from the oilcooler pass through. |

Bottom lip of front apron only. One screw and nut hold it on. The top of the bracket has speed nuts. |

Watch the grille is not sitting against the cooler, the U shaped verticals on the grille will cut into the alloy. If they cut deep...... major oil leak and a trashed cooler. I spaced mine out using a couple of surplus Pulsar dizzy drive dogs.... ![]() |
