Post subject:  Bearing Spacer

ANyone watching EBAY might have noticed some bearings front that came up minus the spacers. I figured I may have a go at using them if I need to.
So I got them for the grand princely sum of $12.20.

Now, seeing that there isn't a spacer is there anything that I can do with them? Can I machine up a spacer to a predetermined width to suit the bearings, how would I work out this width as a matched set?

Try assembling them with the spacer out of your existing ones, and go from there.
If hubs are worn inside (like most) the selected spacer width is wrong anyway.
If there is end float when assembled and torqued up, PM me for details on how to fix... 8)
