Just did my first hill climb today. It was great the mini loved it. I'm running a mostly stock 1330cc cooper s motor, dodgy 'mabor' tyres on 10x4.5 and didn't lighten my car... my best times were to section one. 9.74 seconds (control tower) to section 2 in 25.73 seconds and best finish time was 44.53 seconds, not bad for my first few runs at collingrove. Beat many jap turbo including a turbo sjyline and a turbo rx7, they lack torque I think.
