K-Mart or SuperCrap jumper leads? A waste of $9.95 :P
(spend the money on a jug of beer & a packet of chips
- at least then you will feel satisfied when the car won't start)

Try putting the good battery in & then starting it.

if the battery is really flat you may need to wait a few minutes with her car running, then give it a crank. look at the reason why its flat - if its just because you have left it long then thats fair enough but if not your alternator is more than likely not doing its job

If the jumper leads came apart at the handles , strip the end of the wire back and use the clamp/handle/oversized aligator clips of the jumper lead to hold the bare cable onto the batter to start it and make sure it runs . Once it's going and you've gone for rego , throw the old jumper leads out and get a new set .

by theory you shouldnt jump any car with jumper cable on -ve to -ve it should be -ve source to earth on the flat battery car.

But still I dont follow this  just takes a little longer.

Hope you got you car started....
