Thanks. I was going to suggest Northern Mini Parts, as they import from UK but it's a bit far for you. They will post but that could become expensive.

http://www.miniparts.com.au

Basically he goes to UK 3 to 4 times a year or more so he can get just about anything from the UK mags at a price of course.

At least you can get it thought, which is better than just thinking about it.

No and yes. While the kids are getting ready for school I usually check what I can. I'm not a night person so usually not on line late.

I can't answer mechanical question stuff but I usually know where to find bits and pieces having been through it all myself.

Good luck with the dash. Any particular kind in mind?

you never said what type of mini if its a early car you will not fit a UK dash in they need later dash rails ie clubman ones

one to watch as can be pricey mistake

and UK dashs can be cheap n nasty most are MDF think they swell if get wet,
what sort of dash u after I have a genuine walnut coming to Aus soon if your interested as said this will only fit with later dash rails

Charlie

I'm thinking of making my own dash. Most will probably cringe but I was going to play with plastic to see if I can vacuum mould a more modern looking dash.. I figure nothing wrong with jazzing up the interior.. make it a cross between a modern car and a mini. Not as wierd looking as a modern bini dash though... lol

There's a thread on here somewhere with dimension offsets, if you want to have a go at making one.
I'd use 1/4" waterproof ply- like I did back in `68... it bends better than MDF. Then you can stain it, paint it, or whatever.
