looks very spiffy! how did you go about doing it? are there boards all over the shop? or is the carpet mounted directly to the metal (eg on the back of the seat)?

stapled to the wood? glued down?

How have you fixed it in and how easy is it to get out to get to the spare tyre ? Looks brilliant , very neat and no obvious mounts .

Very easy to make just used some mdf and then covered it in black car carpet. The carpet is glued down and it all just locks in together no screwing required. The bottom board just sits on top of the spare wheel, it just lifts up.Here is some more pics.

you make them a tight fit and they all just lock in together, and when you glue the carpet on to the mdf it make's it even tighter and the boot base holds it all together.

I think it means its just a very tight fit and when you push the back board (against the seat) it holds the sides tightly.
