Get a pin punch and drift them out, if you don't have a pin punch then a concrete nail with the tip ground flat will work (the right diameter of course). They are spring pins and I think they are stepped so will only go one way, if you can't remove one, try the other one. regards Daniel |

Put it in Reverse, then use a 3/16" pin punch to drive the front pin out. If you don't own a PROPER pin punch, go buy one, or a set- before you slip with the BFH and hurt yourself... ![]() ![]() |

^^^ ![]() It's a rolled pin..you use a pin punch to drive it out...you will need it to put back once you put the engine back in so it's worth saving ![]() |

Go to your nearest supercheap auto, say "Hi I'd like a pin punch set" and pay the person around $10... You will need it again to put the engine in with a new pin anyway... |

Split pins are soft crap, even softer now made in China... ![]() And always undersized. The proper pins are a `roll' or `spring' pin, they are harder, and a tight fit so the linkage has less slack. Do it properly- these pins cost peanuts... ![]() |
