Just wondering if someone can tell me which part of the turbo setup is the "dump pipe", i suppose that its the pipe that leads from the turbo to the exhuast. Is it on this pic here? or is it the pipe that leads from the opening at the bottom?

Dump is the pipe coming from the turbo, to the muffler (if you wish :P )

The one in 13secs post looks awesome, what engine is it?

i'm doing the Gti conversion so i'll probably make up one that looks a bit like 13secs but follow out over the gearbox.

13sec, do you know who made the manifold or what brand it is?

In that case, the manifold looks to be a factory one. Have they made it restrictive for a reason or will a design like that be ok. I dont want to get into a big debate but i've been told by many that a log style will not work very well, and then you see this coming off a factory 260kw engine. If anything it looks like cylinder 3 is pushing gas back in 1 and 2 !!!!

Is that why you can make monsterous amounts of power with those engines with small amounts of mods?

miniboy,
You have to remember that exhaust gas does nor flow in all those ports all the time, it is intermittent.
Firing order on a 6 is generally 1-5-3-6-2-4.
