It's not official yet, but I thought I'd get you guys to look over my new website and let me know what you think or if you find any technical problems. Let me know if there's anything I should add or anything you think I should remove or alter.

Here's the link: http://members.iinet.net.au/~tbowtell/pride&joy/index.html

Cheers,

Tim :D

Hi Tim
Very good indeed - love the mini dash idea.

The how-to pops up a server error

OK great. I haven't viewed it on other computers yet but it can't be looking too bad judging by your comments.

Adeee, I'd be happy to make Ausmini a more prominent link if you'd like.

Hanra, I could never refer to your mini as the "Sh*t Box" sorry but I just can't.

Keep looking over it guys as I'm sure I can make some improvements. One thing I will do is have a section showing how the latest painting is progressing. I got so caught up painting the minis that I forgot to take more progress shots. I'll try do that with the next mini I paint, hopefully it won't be too far away.

I'm currently painting a Queenscliffe boat scene, and a painting of our dog.

Love it Tim!
The dash is rendered very nicely and actually looks like it's coming out of the page

Is that second car painting for sale? :P

I dont mean to be critical ..
I think the home page is great --
but i think the dash should be seen as soon as the page opens, so you don't have to scroll down to see it..
But then again, maybe its just my resolution :| :?:

On my 1024 x 768 screen I also have to scroll slighlty to have the dash centred on my screen. Its the same in both netscape and IE.

I imagine that is even more so on lesser resolutions. Just a couple less lines of black on the top would proabaly fix that. I see down to the switches but not the labels unless I scroll

Thanks for pointing that out I'll see if I can fix the homepage.

I actually had created the website using frames so the navigation was on screen at all times, but I keep reading how frames aren't search engine friendly so I spent yesterday converting it to a non-framed site. Maybe I should put up the framed version to see what people think.

Emm, yes that picture is for sale, it's my very first painting of a mini.
Could be worth a fortune one day. [/url]

Emm, you funny person I just realised what the second blue mini was. Sorry it's been long sold. Not sure if the person has had it framed though.
