http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/s ... 02,00.html Lara's curse...another bingle Sydney Confidential October 17, 2006 12:00 LARA Bingle was struck by the curse of her last name at the weekend after she was involved in yet another car bingle - her second this year. While the TV star was not hurt in the accident, the loaned Mini convertible she was driving was - placing her freebie deal with the Canterbury car dealership in question. The incident occurred in Bingle's stomping ground of Cronulla on Saturday, causing much concern at the car yard when the news of the prang broke. "My boyfriend and I were at the dealership trying to test-drive a car when all of a sudden the guy we had been dealing with rushed out the door,'' a Confidential reader reported yesterday. "We asked what the problem was and another sales assistant said, 'Lara Bingle's just smashed one of our demo cars'.'' Mini Canterbury's marketing manager Erik Bellendir initially claimed to know nothing about the bingle before saying he could neither confirm or deny it had occured. But when asked if Bingle would be continuing to loan a vehicle free of charge, Bellendir said a decision was yet to be made. "Nothing has been finalised - it's all open at the moment,'' he said. Bingle's management yesterday claimed the 19-year-old model had not been at fault. "She was coming out of a driveway and she got clipped by another car - it's just a scratch,'' Priscilla Leighton Clark said yesterday. "The important thing is that everybody is fine.'' Bingle's second car bungle comes just six months after she crashed her Mini Cooper into a neighbour's parked Laser. I hope she is nowhere near MDU on Sunday ![]() |

Al , kindly do not bait clubbie owners so blatently , you saw the drama's last time when we were having a light hearted debate about clubbies and roundies when some took it too much to heart . Any future posts like that one will have the clubbie or roundie comments deleted . |

There is a fine line between joking and trolling. I enjoy a good clubby / roundy stoush as much as anybody, but its time to back off on the clubby bashing as its no longer in humour and now just baiting. ![]() |
