I'd go a silvery colour...
your car is red and white (with a mad sunroof!!) your car is soooo smooth
so avoid mixing too many colours (like with the gold n black)
white makes it look kinda plastic-y

these are my opinions, you have your onions
and all the other vegies like tomartos and brocol-lie
and horse radishes for different main courses...

your clubby looks nice no matter what colour the wheels are, personally I reckon white to match the roof.

It looks like the wheels wouldn't stick out much if you got rid of the flares - why not give that a go too...

yeah, the wheel wont stick out at all....they are off an import mini i think...
all i needed were to 3mm spacers on the rears but i think they'l fit with some thinner rubbers....i was going to give them the fling but i think it looks more agressive with them. which is why i got a clubby, not a round nose.

i agree with the don't mix up the colours idea and the idea that white would go with the roof but it might be a bit too much colour co-ordination.

thanks...i just finished spraying it in my backyard, actually about 2-3 months ago and i reckon it turned out ok for a first-timer and a backyard job.

i might go the white and if i dont like it then just spray them again, itl proly only cost me $50-$100 in paint and thinners each time but hey, i wanna get it right the first time so i dont have to do it again.

people know i have unusual taste..... so here goes....

NO white wheels. They will go dark from brake dust, which will make your whole car seem dirty. With dirty wheels, they wont match the roof either.

In my opinion, try charcoal, not black. Something around a dark gey colour. This will put more emphasis on your chromework and body paint, and wont look cheap like white does.

But not too dark in grey or else you wont notice the spokes. One of the mini mags has a project car with this combination. Looks sexy.

Just my opinion.

hang on hang on....

That looks EXACTLY the same as JAM (but I dont have innocenti flares).

What colour did you spray it?? Looks awesome!!

OK, onto the wheels....what brand are they and how old are they? When you say cracks...is it in the paint or RIM!

I was thinking WHITE for my own, but as SC pointed out, they will get dirty pretty quick...but, they will look mad with the dark red and white roof. If you added WHITE MIRRORS it would look awesome.

Silver is the safe bet..... SC's charcoal idea is also a winner in my humble opinion....

But.....being a semi-purist....I say SILVER.

go the charcoal - but make it really glossy - the glossier the better

or really gloss black.

either of these coulours will make the red drums (i assume) stand out more, whereas the white will tend to overwhelm them a bit. Chrome will also make the red stand out by reflecting the colours at funny angles.

It all depends on which features you want to stand out more.

if you want it to look more agressive with the flares, get some LS spacer drums to move the wheels out a bit more. Don't waste your time with spacers on top of the normal drums. Otherwise i reckon it would look great without the flares at all 8)

the car looks fantastic, a real credit to you.
go the home jobs,

BLACK!!! would look the best, that other dark grey
would look allright, but then you would have three
colours on your car, (white roof, red car, black flares,
greyish wheels) woops 4 colours-

i think black would look awesome on it and would tie in
nicely with the flares. either way i think the car looks
awesome so i don't think you will go wrong, you obviously
have good taste....

yeah...proudly ALL myself....

it took me about a month of 2-3hrs, every second night preparation, about 2 hours research on the net on how to do it properly and then got into it.

the shine i reckon isnt that good in real life, there's a few ripples in the paint where i didnt sand down straight properly but im really picky i guess.

for an acrylic paint job and only about $600 worth of materials im not complaining though (saved myself hundereds)

thanks for the wrap by the way.
