hey guys, i bought myself some hi-los on the weekend and have fitted the rear ones BUT i dont have the tool thing to do the fronts, Can anyone in the melbourne area that has the tool help me out?? I live in richmond and as the mini is unregistered i'd prefer not to drive it. Im willing to pay for your services so hopefully someone out there can help. thanks heaps trent |

I didnt use a cone compressor when doing mine... but that meant I had to remove the suspension arm. I recall it being easier with the hi-lo's though because you can shorten them up considerably less then the standard cones - I cant remember if they still squeesed through with that arm on tho ![]() |

I fitted Hi-Los to the front of my Moke last weekend. They slipped in okay when would up to the minimum (lowest ride height) setting. My cones are not knackered either - came from the rear of a 1990 Mini with 35,000km on it! Sorry, can't help with the come compressor, I don't have one. The old cones were so squished I didn't need it... It helps to remove the small rebount rubber under the top arm, gives you a few prescious extra mm. ![]() |
