Well... The trip back from Penrith was pretty quick considering the distance, but had a few Minor dramas.

1. About 60km from Albury i was passing through a small town which posted 50km/h speed limit, so i went to drop it back to 3rd gear when suddenly the whole gearshift lever went sloppy. I pulled over and saw that one of the rubber mounts tore in half. I could still select gears so i continued on until Albury where i pulled into a servo and parked with the front wheel on the kerb so i could get under and fix it. I managed to get a rubber exhaust mount and two 5/16 washers from an Exhaust shop next to the servo. All was well again... until...

2. Saw a patch of fluid under the front of the car and noticed the bottom rad hose was dripping Very slowly. I topped it up yesterday before we left and managed to get it half way home so i decided it wasn't as bad as i thought so then...

3. About 30 minutes out of Albury (now in Vic) i can hear a squeaking sound from the dash, not much i can do so kept going. 15 minutes later... The speedo decides i doesn't want to work any more, so i have to judge my speed by my tacho (which has parkinson's!)

Anywho, thats my story of my drive home from MDU. (Spose it could've been worse  )

Good to hear you made it with only a couple of little things, but it wouldn't have been any fun if everything went fine.
