I have a Moke with the engine number of 99H791P113162

Can any Mini heads please tell me what size this engine is? Seems to go awfully well. 8)

Thanks in advance.

Your motor is a 998 - or at least it started life that way. It could have been bored by .20, .40 or .60 along the way and could have increased the bore size slightly.

Its a later series 998 that was fitted to clubbies and mokes.

It's the wind in your hair that makes you feel like you're going faster :)

Thanks for the info, I was told it was only a 998cc in it, but thought surely not. Must just be as you say, wind in your hair = hair in your face, And being so low to the ground, like a go kart.

Thanks again.

If it had the old 1100 crank and rods, it would feel quick! :D

Lots of the 99H motors (998cc) have been rebuilt over the years, a popular mod was and is to drop a 1098 crank in at the same time.. instant 100+cc, and an extra 8 or so lb/ft torque.
We found one like this in Barney when we bought him. :D

No substitute for cubic inches (or ccs) in a road car.
