hi im just wondering how u get the exhaust and extractors off a mini there perry extractors and ive unbolted it all but im wondrering how to get the extractors out of the engine bay and how do i take the extractors off the exhaust because they are spot welded do i cut it or just leave it in one piece

you will need to seperate the ehaust and extractors, thats why they are just spot welds. may also need to remove engine stedy and tip engine foward, at worst you will need to take an engine mount off.

Have been there and done that
The question is why do you want the extractors off and out. If its to remove the engine the you need to undo the rear muffler hanger and any other mounting thingo's including that one to the gearbox. That will give several inches of movement to get the extractors off the head studs.

Out is a different story - they either come out after the motor is out, or, from the bottom (means the car is up pretty high), or, from the top. Which ever way - the exhaust (as previously stated) must come off the extractors.

i thought that you had to take them out first to get the engine out thanks for that it will save me a long time
