Ok its related to the pulling problem. Since the mini man replaced the steering rack/shaft/whatever, he said i'd need a wheel alignment. I havent done it and its been bout a month and ive noticed that the outsides of the tires are a lot more worn than the insides. Is this easily done with a wheel alignment? How do they do it? I think its called camber.

Sounds remarkably like my problem, except I've had the alignment done (even had it rechecked because it was still pulling right after it). I got told the front subframe was a bit stuffed, that's an engine out job though and if I can get it as straight as possible without having to take the engine out (something i'm not prepared to get done so my moke will have to retire otherwise) i'm trying to explore all other avenues. it is probly toeing in meaning the front wheels are faceing inwards like this / \ if it was toeing out it would be like this \ / or i could be compleatly mistaken so it would be like this ? but wear on the outside sounds like toe in if it was on the in side it would be toe out but it could also be the camaber could be out the tyers are leaning out but i doubt it ase it was only the rack that was replaced also when you get a wheel alingment done make sure the guy knows what he is doing with ten inch wheels makka |

got it in one Makka - do you happen to notice a big of a scuffing sound if you drive on smooth concrete with the window open? get that frigging alignment done! |

yep, Id also say toe-in. Theres 2 ways of checking it.... Does the front of your car lift up (rather than the rear squatting down) when taking off or accelerating? If yes, its toe in. When you go thru a corner, does your car want to straighten up, or keep turning? Drive thru a corner and let go of the steering wheel - the wheel should go to "straight ahead" instantly if you have toe out (which i reccommend). I think you might have bigger problems though Will. When i was following you the other night, your car was "crabbing". Your back wheels run slightly closer to the gutter than your front wheels. If i am right, you are pointing your steering wheel slightly to the left to keep the car straight..... I'd suggest getting the rear trailing arms inspected for wear also. You never know what you'll find
