This maybe should be in Events or spotted, but I wanted everyone to know what I saw today.

I was in sydney, with close friends of the family for lunch. We ventured down to Darling harbour, and came across the motor show... Was pretty cool, they had a 4 wheel drive thingy set up, had a bit of a look at that, and went and had lunch.

On the way back around the harbour, I found some minis.
I got to meet Bob. And see his fantastic mini. Which I only just realised I didnt get any pics of.

There was also the Monarco (black with gold stripes) there, which I didnt get pics of, becuase people were crowded around it.

Excuse quality of the pics, they were taken on a mobile phone.

This one I took 2 pics of, but my finger got in one of the pics

This one was really nice. Had a nice interior.

Dad told me these ones are expensive... I said, I know. (I should have said, the hinges on your wallet may need some oil to buy me this one

Told Dad to buy me one of these for going to the beach.... Me.... driving in a moke with surfboard on top... I can see it now...
Image

This one was nice.

This one was interesting.... but I'd rather Bob's clubby.
Image

All in all, a good day was had. Was good to meet Bob.

I noticced that too. I pointed it out to dad, and he said a mint condition motor shouldnt leek oil..... in saying that he thinks my first care should be 'reliable and inexpensive'...... I dont think those words should be mixed....

The authorities usually demand drip trays these days for most car shows.

Mint A-Series engines can leak oil with the best of them

My Trusty Monaco steed died on the way home today.
I would like to thank everyone for their help in getting it home.
Thank you, Ollie, Andrew, Emmeline, Chris, Jim (gafmo) for helping me get the little baby home.
The problem proved quite technical really.
Lucas, the Dark Prince and his mate Murphy combined to stop the electrics, giving no fuel pump power, or spark.
I will check in the next few weeks.
A great day none the less, Thanks to Ausmini spirit.
John.

at Penrith, pencil it in your calendar now! They'll be minis and food.
