hey i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what i would need to do to change my universal joints to pot joints?? |

You need different driveshafts, the actual pot joint, the ball bearings & you need to change over the diff out put shafts, a easy job if you know what you are doing. Doogie |

That is just the actual pot joint, the tapered type end clips into the output shaft on the diff, all 3 types on a mini are different, you also need the right driveshaft, this has a cage the holds ball bearings that then slide into the pot joint itself. Any reason why you are wanting to change to pot joints? Doogie |

Thats not true, if you are going to update your brakes you can re use the current driveshaft you have, you simply knock the old CV joint off the driveshaft & put the driveshaft into the new CV on your new disc brakes im assuming, it a relativley easy job. Doogie |
