hey i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what i would need to do to change my universal joints to pot joints??

You need different driveshafts, the actual pot joint, the ball bearings & you need to change over the diff out put shafts, a easy job if you know what you are doing.

That is just the actual pot joint, the tapered type end clips into the output shaft on the diff, all 3 types on a mini are different, you also need the right driveshaft, this has a cage the holds ball bearings that then slide into the pot joint itself. Any reason why you are wanting to change to pot joints?

i was going to get larger brakes http://minispares.com/Product.aspx?pid=34525 and i got told i would need pot joints?

Thats not true, if you are going to update your brakes you can re use the current driveshaft you have, you simply knock the old CV joint off the driveshaft & put the driveshaft into the new CV on your new disc brakes im assuming, it a relativley easy job.
