Hey guys, I'm just wondering what it would cost to get a car (Mini of course!) from melbourne to toowoomba (QLD, 4350). Does anyone know of any good companies they would trust? As I do not know anyone in melbourne, does anyone know the price that they were charged if they moved a car interstate at all, just a bit of a rough idea (if you don't mind sharing)? Thanks as I didn't have much luck with searching. |

My mother was living in Toowoomba and her time to live alone came to an end. We brought her car half way (to Dubbo) for four hundred dollars with a Toowoomba based trucking company. Its been a couple of years so I forget the trucking company name but it was near the airport in that industrial area. Let the fingers do the walking. As a rule - the trucking companies want a car that starts and runs. The last thing you need is a company that loads a non runner with a forklift. |

you used to be able to get a back load from sydney to brisbane for around $600, that was for a complete semi. I would say it cost a little bit more than that now. Try contacting a car carrier. Dan |

Try www.movingcars.com.au you can request a quote. I used them to transport a mini from Adelaide to Warrnambool (VIC), via Melbourne - bit oover $400 from memory. Good service. |
