I'm being told that 1 1/2" and 1 5/16" sockets are not available in 1/2" drive only 3/4" Is that the norm? Spose I can get an adaptor |

I have the 1 & 5/16th's with 1/2inch Drive Wombat, you are more than welcome to borrow it. I assume it's either hub nuts, crank end or steering wheel you need to remove?. A kind gent on this forum picked it up for me (in Sydney). I don't recall who it was though (I think it was a fella who's nic is CHRIS). |

They are for the crank nut and the flywheel. Thanks for reminding me - I bought a socket for the steering wheel ages ago and it's not in the tool box - if thats 1 5/16" then I have one ![]() (as my wife would say - have a girls look not a boys look ![]() Thanks guys |

I bought a 3/4 drive one, 1-1/2", & welded an old 5/8" socket on top. Excellent now for both balljoints and pinion nut, as well as the flywheel. ![]() |

I still haven't got round to reshimming my ball joint though! |

I got a big ball joint socket from Paddy's Markets for $11. Sure it's made in India but it's a deep impact 1/2 drive sicket and you only used it once or twice a decade! ![]() |
