Ive actually got a set of those badges in really good nick!!! U gotta drill some holes in ya bootlid to fit them as there are shafts on the backside of the badge the protrude throught the panel, u can get these little plastic sleeves that slip over the shaft on the other side of the boot lid, good idea to use some sort of sealant on them to prevent them falling off and ur badge bouncing down the rd......

The badges have pins that push into little plastic `mouse condoms' :P that are first inserted into the holes in the boot.
They are not fitted to the badge pins from inside the boot.
 Soak them in hot water so they don't split during fitment.

Here's the plastic `clip' thingy.
It's pushed into each hole from outside until the flange touches the boot.
Then you push the badge in.
As I said, heat `em before fitting- they split easy. particularly in cold weather.

Mine's a Mini Matic but your Deluxe badge just replaces the Matic badge.
No dot.
same height position.

This is the back of my mini, so it would be alright just above where the number plate light is?
