ANNOUNCEMENT: The Mini Car Club of WA, Mini Owners Club of WA and Southern Districts Mini Car Club have come together to organise a celebration of the 100th birthday of Sir Alec Issigonis (the man behind the Mini). All club members, Mini owners and owners of other cars that Sir Alec designed (Morris 1000, Morris 1100 etc. etc.) are cordially invited to join in the celebrations. Where: Manning Park Reserve, Spearwood When: 11am, Saturday, November 18, 2006 All vehicles will be on public display, food available or bring a picnic, games for young and old including “SU carby throwing” and “rocker cover racing”. Will be there hopefully with all the utes ( if Mr Moke is back ) some 1800's etc.Will shut down shop for the arvo...eeekk! Plenty of people are talking about the day... should be great
