Post subject:  After Market Temperature Guages

Sorry if this has been covered before but I bought and installled a VDO Temp guage. The sender is the correct type for the original guage. The VDO Guage reads off scale (above 120 degrees) when the engine is hot so is useless for telling me if I am over heating.

Do i need to match the sender to the Guage ( I know dumb question) as I think I have nailed the overheating problem, just buggered if I can prove it....lol

Thanks Guys,

Jim. :D
