Yes yes and yes. I know exactly what you mean, gets to a stage where it seems like you spend heaps of time workin on the car, but you just dont seem to get any where. That will be great when its done. Will have to go for a bit of a cruise one day when she's all done. You had that car on classic rego, didnt you?

Yes, concessional rego. Definitely up for the cruise. See if we can get some other guys interested too.
I will be bringing my sprint mini home after Noosa, for engine/box rebuild, refresh etc, rip more weight out of it! Steve

Was thinking of asking the Mini Owners Club Q to "sanction" a run for the concessional reg bit. Will follow up when I am in Bris next, I'll also ask about your rego, what you were told sucks. We could do a promo, add in the Cairns Post, assemble at some point. Saw a purple Clubbie van today, with 12's, so there are still a few around. There was also that guy at Autobarn with a yellow Clubbie, thou not seen it for a while. Have the sprint mini home after 13 & 14 November, have a 2nd place to defend in pre 73 up to 1600cc Touring Car class. Steve

Ill definatley be round to check the sprint out when u get it home. Good luck with it all anyway. Hope you show a few of those other guys up. As for the rego, yeah I never bothered goin any further with it. When it comes time for Mini Club renewal, they can jam it. Considering joing the All American Car Club Of Cairns. Only thing is have to be a member 4 a year b4 u can take advantage of classis rego. Such a pain cause the Mini and Commodore rego renewals are a week apart.

That purple van is owned by a young dude. Not sure if he is actually into Minis, I think its just his run around, from what I heard he has another project in the shed. Havnt seen the yellow clubbie. Did see a dark coloured round nose van with 12's bout a month ago. Looks like an older guy drivin it. Its fairly tidy, pretty rare u would assume to, Round nose van.
