Post subject:  In hose washer pumps

Does anybody know if a inline washer pump motor is available, basically i want to run the original washer bottle in my van, so basically i want a pump to go in the hose between the washer bottle & jets. Does such a beast exist?

Yes, they do exist. I got one a while ago for my Morris 1100. I got it from a spare parts place somewhere.
I stuck it behind the dash to keep it looking stock. It didn't work! They need to be mounted lower than the bottle to keep the pump primed. I had a non return valve in the line but it still managed to flow back and you needed to prime the pump to get it flowing again.
I went back to the stock plunger pump. I will get around to trying it again one day.

Some jap cars have a pump in the bottom of the washer bottle that just push into a grommet, you can pull them out and fit a hose on the inlet side.

Yes, AutoPro and the like have generic pumps.
Expect to pay about $20 though!
