I've noted that things like wheel bearings are a lot cheaper through bearing supply places rather that "Auto parts suppliers" - including Karcraft.

Does that also apply to the diff output bearings and others in the gear box etc?

Also anyone use the Gear Box Bearing Kit from Karcraft?- does it have all you need or is it overkill? - impressions please

That's a bit of a shock for me as the local bearing places here in Newcastle were all quite a bit over Karcrafts price for wheel bearings and one was about $35 a side dearer. Probably didn't want the hassle of ordering them in?

Just need to clarify the above statement. The Auto Parts places were the worst with one of them being the dearest. Although the bearing places were no where near as bad as the auto parts, they were still dearer than Karcraft.

The bearing kit from Karcraft is good value, it will cost you more to buy them separate.
No it is not overkill if you are doing it properly.
It does NOT include the 2 idler bearings, or the diff ones.

MG Heritage does a similar deal.
