...to answer your question, it should blow into the guard. |

it looks right. But your making me think now. you will know it's right where the metal insert on the fan bolt holes are to the outside. ie next to the radiator, not the engine. Cheers Aaron |

I thought the fan had to pull air into the engine bay, from under the guard?!? |

The fan pushes air coming in through the grille out under the guard. Or it should if fitted correctly... |

guys guys guys... the fan will push air the correct direction regardless of the way you put it on.. you cannot change this.. but because the fan is an aerofoil design (each blade looks like a little areoplane wing) its more efficient (like alot more) when put on in the right direction the airflow in a mini is different to most engines where the radiator is the last thing the air sees before leaving the engine bay.. air comes in the grill then through the fan and out under the guard (so the fan is actually blowing away from the engine) make sure the little metal inserts in the bolt holes in the fan have the built in washer facing away from the engine. (ie the bolts have metal to face onto not plastic) if your unsure what i mean look at the fan. one side the holes have a small metal ring showing.. the other side the metal ring is alot bigger.. the big side is away from the engine, the small side is towards the engine |
