ok so i get to the point where im putting back in my engine and i just cannotget the drive shafts to go in.... which is makig it just as hard to get the engine mounts to line up... any got any tips? or could lend a hand next weekend or sometime during the week to get them in ? |

How are you doing it , have you pulled the inner cv's apart or "popped" them off the diff ? willy , is there any difference between aussie clubbie pot joint's and rover pot joints , I don't think there is but anything's worth a shot ??? |

i did but they are propperly on now... |

so there done? some metro, so i assume late mini ones also are a different size, we struggled with a mates a+ for ages before realising the pots are slightly smaller ![]() |

you need two guys one to move the driveshaft, and one to move the engine around, do one shaft at a time, i think the long one first. failing that, you need to undo your front suspension on one side or both sides |

Jack the car up so that front wheels are just off the ground , you can then move the joints into position by turning either front wheel ........cheers |
