You're not making sense. But anyways I have heard of solid mounted subframes but I thought they were only for race cars? |

If you have an Australian made Mini you should always have your front subframes solid mounted. ![]() |

All Aussie minis had solid mounted subframes, Pommie minis in the early 80s, had rubber mounts between subbie and body in an effort to make the ride more modern. Never ridden in one but apparently it makes the handling a bit more vague. Still good tho cos they are minis!! Remember minis, the cars we all love! ![]() ![]() You can buy 'solid' mounts for these cars to make them more like the older solid mounted cars. Can't mix and match subbies without modifications. Hope this helps. |

alsminik wrote: i think so thank you ???? Have you ever heard of punctuation? ![]() What you have said above makes very little sense at all. Is it supposed to be "i think, so thank you" or "i think so, thank you" Your posts are very hard to read. (you make the camel and makka look good) |

Don't recall seing rubber mounts...do recall often seeing steel tower spacers that do provide a little more isolation from road shock. |
