Hi All, it has been a very busy weekend so far working on Ed. Update pics in members gallery. Go easy on the critisizm as it is my first time TIG welding....

Dont worry about ur welds, they look nice and solid. Thats a massive job your doing I hope it turns out well. It will take ages but it will definatly be worth it in the lond run.

The welds have good penetration, I turned the amps up to about 26-28 amps for light to medium panel work, and found a slight bead coming through the other side. For heavier work I turned the amps up to about 34-40 amps depending on what was being welded. I am really enjoying the TIG welding now, With the amps turned low and some slow patient welding I can really start to get it right. Quite relaxing..
