'tis the season for new additions....I see a few people have recently acquired new members to their Mini families...

Well my family have acquired a new member.

Pics, more details etc coming soon.....as no money has changed hands yet, but it's a done deal

It (no name yet) will be restored by my father in law (and myself no doubt).

Thats the one......don't know what to call it yet, or what it will become, but it shall be done.

Chris, no room in my garage mate, this one will live at the in laws.

First job is to paint it..... Sunset Red is the original colour ey Kev? That's what it's going back to.

Yep, Sunset Red- it's a `64, and that's the only year they used that colour.
Unlike Saxon Green- they must have made 10s of thousands that colour including my 1st 850!

I don't think I have seen one in Sunset Red. Anyone got a pic of a Mini in that colour, or a colour sample or something.

Kev, I really can't picture the colour from the inside of the shell. I think it's too thin and not glossy.....makes it look totally different.

Duc,
I tow that boat with the EA Ford, my `Oz tractor of the `90s' (Valiant 265 hemi was Oz tractor of the 80's, haha.. I had 2 of those)

Boat is heavier than you think.. it weighs at least 2 Minis..
