i cant remember how much i payed for mine.. but its electric with a hotted up motor.. goes good, if its for just mucking around id say get an electric one, as they are cheaper to run and less can go wrong with them, although they arent as fast, you can still make them hammer.

kits are fairly simple to build, and you can custom paint your shell to match your car

eg meeni sortof..

The Tamiya mini is the electric front wheel drive one , there is a front wheel drive nitro mini available but it's made by Kyosho , not sure if it's still in production or not though . There are a few others (including a nitro 4WD one ) available for the mini body but they are more expensive again . The Tamiya one is a lot of fun and is basic electric and mostly bomb proof if you are just wanting some fun . There are also a lot of performance bits available for it . Not sure on prices as I bought mine about 10 years ago now and is the original one with a single horizontal spring across the front rather than a spring per front side . They come up on ebay from time to time as well quite reasonably .

Good fun to have around.Cost for basic kit $400.00-then you start to modify it to go faster and then you start to spend more money  Just like a real Mini
Pic of ours.
