Today i look at my motor i recently acquired (a 1275) and according to the numbers it is a 1275 from a 1978 LS. Is that good, were there many of these motors produced, what is tha base HP or KW for this motor?. The gearbox is rod change type with pot joints for the drive shafts. Is this a standard gearbox setup for this motor |

Over the last few days there has been quite a few posts on this subject in the thread about Clubman GT's being anything less than an absolute classic car. Suggest you read through that thread as many of your questions will be answered. |

1275 LS was only about 60HP stock. Standard gearbox was rodchange with pot joints, 3.44 diff. |
