Looking at buying some after market seats I have the dimensions of the seats but im not sure they will fit. So I need to know how wide is to wide? I know Hanra has some sparcos. Who else has some? Those that do could you please grab the tape measure for me and have a quick look ide really appreciate it... Mike |

My Sparco's are a tight fit.... They actually rub on the inside of the door frame. If u can find the dimenions of them, dont go any wider!!!! Sparco Sprints they are, mounted on Cobra frames for Mini. |

Yep, if i manage to get out to the shed and unwrap it!! Are u chasing the widest part of the chair? Ill get base width and back width. |

Yeah mate widest part of the base and widest part of the back...... That would be tops mte I appreciate it... I dont have any seats in mine yet so I cant even measure the standard ones.. Mike |

Ok, the rear of the chair has like wings around the shoulder area, these rub the door frame, it is 53cm across at that point. The base of the seat, at the front is the widest point, That is also 53cm across. As i said earlier, these chairs sit on Cobra subframes which i had to modify to accept the sparcos.

Suzuki swift seats fit well and starlet although they sit close to the hanbrake. |

Yeah its not really a hassle, cause i have the seat so far back, it actually sits just behind the rear of the door frame. If the seat was a little more forward it would rub a lot worse. |

I took some measurements of my mini today and at the cars narowest point inside the cabin I have 116cm where the door catches are... so im thinking the seats im looking at might fit... They say there 56cm at the wides point. So i should have 14cmsto play with..... Maybe.... I hope |
