Are the 2 mounting studs vertical (for 1.25") or at 45deg (for 1.5")? |

The size of an SU carb- 1.25" (HS2), 1.5" (HS4), 1.75" (HS6) is measured where it bolts onto the manifold. Intake size is a little less. ![]() |

oh ok then, thanks heaps guys... must be a 1.5" then cause, a) bolts are on a 45 deg angle b) if intake side is a little less then it must be 1.5" on exhaust side. THANKS HEAPS TO ALL.... BTW, wat kind of ramflow filter thingy should i get?? If i go dwn to the local car auto shop wat do i ask for? im just after a cheap one cause there's no filter on it ATM. |

`Socks' are made by Unifilter, you can get them from Opposite Lock Accessories, or most 4WD or spares places have them or can get them in. See this page, 1/2 way down, for pic of SU ones.. http://www.uniflow.com.au/sports.asp Finer Filter used to make them too, but they got bought out by Unifilter, then closed.. ![]() |
