hey guys does anyone know what one of these is worth in good , working condition ? i know where theres one but dont know what its worth and neither does the guy that owns it , heres the details: made by : haldex AB sweeden Cat No: TWM 2 Serial No: 65547 thanks guys |

is it just the standard late model mini one?? i got mine for $20 but needed reco, cost $45 to reco it. |

wow $200 already, never seen one before (or heard of it) but must be pretty rare. Whats it do? thought you were talking about brake masters before, woops. |

They were a distance measuring instrument used pre=electronics. There was a single reading version....tripmaster, and a twin reading version....twinmaster. You need a T piece to go into the speedo cable and then gears to calibrate it. Find a surveyed 5km distance and run up and down changing gears until you get it right. There were gear charts to rough the calibration in but I bet you can't get them any more. Race and Rally in Sydney were the experts. They were not mini specific, being used in every car. There must be hundreds of them laying around in cupboards. |

'they still get used in some classic rally cars.....i saw one in an old fiat or something in last yearrs classic adelaide. they use those digital brantz ones now mostly though |
