following on from a recent topic (which i found and read and didnt answer my q) i'm getting a little engine shudder when under load (eg driving up hills, carting around my fat mates  )

it happened the other night around 3am driving to ballarat from melbourne, i took my foot off accelerator pedal and when the ngine slowed down the shudder stopped, then it was fine. it happened again the other day driving up a big hill that i shift down to 3rd for, it wa sstill shuddering in 3rd.

has happened once or twice since, but today it behaved on the drive from ballarat to geelong. whats the go? there's no oil leaking out of the clutch cover

Clutch slipping?

I had mine on the verge of slipping and it had oil all over one side of the clutch plate. Seals were leaking just enough to stuff it up over a long period of time (components were worn anyway but oil certainly didn't help).

Maybe your's caught mine's disease at Mt. Cooper

For me it was new clutch/primary gear, seals and machining.

It pretty much broke my bank pre-christmas as it started doing it out of the blue on the morning of mt. cooper and I hadn't budgeted it in.

Check the inner U/Js- if they are the rubber type, or Hardy Spicer and had it, they can give funny vibes under load.
