I picked this beast up for 900 dollars in the advertiser? Is that a fair price? I would have paid more as I was after a round nose with a good body. Motor runs nice, with good compressions, tight gearbox ect.. For those in adelaide, there are reciepts from just before it was taken of the road from the old owner of morris mania (yahn) , for a couple of thousand, which was spend on the motor, suspension steering and a couple of other things.
Im re ringing it and replacing the bearings if need be, as well as the valve stem seals, as it is a bit smoky (blue) on start up. Probably becasue it has been dormant for four years.
I think this is the best way to go so that i know exactly what I have got when I pull her apart.
Steve.
