im trying to bolt the back together and i can tighten it to a certain point but then it starts turning round like you have to hold on to something to stop turnig so my q. is how do u do this sorry if this doesnt make much sense im new to this thanks nathan |

Provided both parts are paint, dirt and grease free, they should be fine. some light taps with a fibre hammer may help settle the joints in a bit. Put some copper grease on the retainer nut too. ![]() |

Put some weight on it, ie with the jack under the bottom arm. Daniel |

Like they said above - put a jack under and carefully pump it up a bit or the other way is to lower the car down with a length of 4 x 2 (or similar) on its end (of course) under the ball joint. Happy Chrissy |

A lock (spring) washer should not be used with a flat washer. It defeats the purpose of the spring washer... as the flat washer can spin it undone. ![]() |

A new spring washer... ![]() The idea of a spring washer is the ends bite in and prevent it unscrewing. Alternatively, use a Nyloc nut, no washer needed. |
