That's the place that my dad found. It's a great place and the dude who owns it lives about 2 minutes drive from my place! bonus!

In case you geelong mini owners don't know, we are planning a mini run down to Lorne. For all the particulars check the "planned cruises" section of this forum.

Hi mate,
Northern has a whole load of stuff, but unfortunately the pricetag and the distance puts me off. I have been shown the back area of that place, and upstairs, that guy has EVERYTHING

Mini Mac in Hoppers Crossing is good

If you get Max on a good day, he's great. If he's having a bad day, he a cranky old bastard. Then you just talk to Margaret.

They operate from home so they are a bit more flexible about pick up and drop off times etc.

I used to go to Northen when Henry owned it. Now it's not worth the drive...

Cheers.

I agree re dollars - i asked about cost of plain old steel wheels and was told $85 or $90. I thought that's not too bad for a set of four - but he meant each  I know people use them for their trailers, but charging that for them?

On the subject of spare parts from Northern Mini versus Mini Macs - about 6 months back Ineeded a new (used) clutch master cylinder. Northern were going to sell me one that needed reconditioning for about $150, while MiniMacs had some already re-co'd and ready to fit for $120 including a reco'd slave cylinder. Guess who i bought from !!!

Not that I want to get in to any slander or anything like that if you know what I mean.

Cheers
