I've searched though all the old posts and can't see the answer to my question. What I would like to know is how do you adjust the 1/4 glass. ATM when I open it, it stays open but once I'm driving and the wind is coming in it closes. There isn't enough friction there to keep the glass open. Is there some way of adjusting it so that it actually stays open? I know it can be done, just not sure how, never pulled it off before. |

The bottom pivoton the quarter glass is actually a threaded rod and inside the door is a small nut on this rod. This needs to be tightened a little. It is something I do once the window is out (the door pilled apart), I haven't tried to do this in the car, but maybe someone has? If you can see up inside the door through the internal inspection holes, you may be able to get a socket or spanner onto the nut, if you can't you will need to disassemble the door till you can. |

Its pretty much impossible to adjust w/o taking the 1/4 window out. Once you do ajust it - just tighten it enough - be careful not to overtighten as then the rubber gasket will compress and you'll have a big gap there once the window is closed, plus the rubber will crack after awhile. |
