That's a different model to mine but I would guess the S is the one that goes to the Sender (-ve coil). Did all 4 wires come with it? Mine came with a diode they recommend connecting between the coil and gauge if you have points ignition.

Here's the original thread - http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23340&highlight=speco

I doubt it... just read through the previous thread, below is an e-mail matt68 got back from Speco

"Matthew,

Green wire connects to “S” terminal and to negative side of coil. If there is an aftermarket tacho pick up wire, connect to this wire instead of negative side of coil.

Black wire to “G” terminal and to earth.

Red wire to “I” terminal and to ignition switch.

White wire connects to the thick black wire from lighting globe assembly and then to dash lights.

Regards,

Bob Forrest
Speco Thomas"

i bought them from reckless motor sport on ebay, he is the cheapest i found and i reckon the reason why you only see the 150 dolllar pro series and the normall you have to ask for is to trap the riceneers

all up, i got thacho, water temp, oil temp, fuel level, amps, all up was around 200, with p&h

I had a look at the eBay store. Its great, his prices are awesome. I was thinking about getting a Smiths tacho (I know there not real good but I was after the classic look to match in) but I will be buying one from Reckless Motor Sport at that price!
