I want my heater out of there. It doesnt work anyways so I figure if its possible, remove the whole thing and put something else in the space. Is this possible, and how hard is it to do. Is much plumbing needed? |

it shouldnt be too hard, i remember putting mine in which was a PITA but once its out all you will have to do is join the hoses which went into it. just cut them and put some kind of plumbing joint into them! no worries |

theres only like 4 nuts holding in in there - but its very annoying to remove the nut right at the back. the problem is more than likely the heater valve, take it out have a looksy and if so new valves can be got on ebay for like $70 i think. id leave it in, as theres a greater chance of overheating without it and when its gone you'll wish you had it |

The heater core itself can be remover. But remember the blower fan has to be left there otherwise if removed the demist will not function and the car will not be Road Worthy !!! Removing the heater Core should not make the Engine overheat as the tap is normally turned off in summer any way. |
