Post subject:  old advertising campaign
Does anyone remember the old Mini advertising campaign used on Australian TV in the 70's.
Its where my signature comes from. My wife and 2 boys thought i made it up myself, not that clver I'm afraid.
Anyway, if anyone remembers the entire ad let me know. I have tried to find it but with no success.

Yeah I remember the tune well - it was one of those ditties that sticks in your head forever!!! The words are a bit fuzzy tho.........................

I remember something along the lines of:

I luv my Min I luv my car
I drive him everywhere
I have more fun than everyone
Driving here and there
Mini-Mini-Mini-Mini
Mini-Mini-Mini-Mini

Good jingle, but the fact it was set in a circus with clowns driving the Mini did little to make the car seen as a serious road car.

I think that may have been the last Australian TV ad campaign for the Mini, from memory.
