While digging the crud out from around the lower wishbone arm I noticed the rubber bushes were breaking up. The parts diagram is a little unclear - is there one or two rubber bushes per side?

Two.

Earlier bushes (850 era) are parallel bushes, later bushes are tapered to make them easier to fit.

The later tapered bushes come with a steel bush inside them, the early ones don't.
They are not interchangeable with early ones, the hole in lower arm is different.
